AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS. (PRESS ASBOCUIfOH TBLIQBAK.) WELLINGTON. April 19. The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has been informed by the Queensland Amateur Athletio Association that the following dates have been fixed for events to be run at the Australian and New Zealand Track and Field Games Championships, to be held in Brisbane:August 14th-Firat half of Australian and New Zealand Track and Field Games Championships: lOOyds. 440 yd«, one mile, 8 mile walk, 120 yds hurdles, pole vault, throwing 161b hammer, and discus throwing. August Mit-Fiirt half of the Australian and N<sw Zealand Decathlon Championship: 100 metres, 400 raetree, broad jump, nign iumi», putting 161b shot. August 19th-Second half of a P*cathlon Championship: 110 metres • hurdles, 1500 metres flat, pole vault, discus, and javelin th A°rS'2lst-Second half of track and field championship: 220 yds, 880 yds. 3 miles, mile walk, «oyds hurdles, broad jump, nigh jump',•■pawns' 16Ib ~,o' v i jj ' 41. The Telay meetings will be decided on the Exhibition Ground.
