John Breeze (36), collier and drill hall caretaker, of Abercarn, was found "Guilty but insane," and was ordered to be detained during his Majesty's pleasure, at the Monmouthshire ABsizes before Mr Justice Sankey. . He was charged with the murder of his three children—lris' (8), Olive Mary (4), and, Betty Charlotte (18 months) by shoot-' ing them with a service rifle while they were asleep. Mr C. F. Vachell, K.C: (for the defence), urged that. Breeze had a distinguished war career,- but that his experiences and wounds had affected his brain. . '
