LABOUR WELL BEHIND. (Mr fcAßU—nits ASsocuttoH—eojttiwr.) (AtSIBALUK AJTD Jt.Z. CABLB ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, March 8. In the Federal by-election for the Eden-Monaro electorate, due to the death of Sir Austin Chapman, the Nationalist candidate, Mr Perkins, at the present stage has a majority of over 6000 over his Labour opponent. His election seems assured.
