MOTOR-LORRY IN FLAMES.
(PEE3S ASSOCIATION TZLEGRAH?) "WELLINGTON, March 8. A match thrown down by a passerby while William Eagle was filling & lorry tank with benzine on Customhouse quay ignited the fumes, and instantly the lorry was a mass of flames. Fire extinguishers from near-by business premises kept the blaze in check till the Fire Brigade arrived with the chemical outfit.. The lorry suffered damage to the ext«nt of about £SO. Eagle escaped uninjured.
