NO DEVELOPMENT.
IMPERIAL CONFERENCE DATE,
(by cable—press association— copyright.) (reuter's telegrams.) LONDON, January 14. It is learned that there has been no further development in arranging for the next Imperial Conference. Some Dominion Governments have replied to the Imperial Government's enquiry as to what time will suit their representatives to come to London, but further communications must pass before any decision is reached.
As regards the suggestion that the conference might be held, in June, the fact that elections are jiending in several Dominions, and the Parliaments of others will be reassembling about that time, makes it likelier that the conference will be held about October, perhaps even later. AUTUMN DATE PROBABLE. (Sydney "Sun" Service.) LONDON," January 14. It is now learned that the majority of the Dominions have replied, suggesting dates for the Imperial Conference, j Cabinet's task is now to choose a I date inflicting the least inconvenience on overseas Prime Ministers. There 13 little doubt a meeting will be arranged for the autumn. It is expected that all the Dominions will be represented by Prime Ministers or other Ministers.
