HANDSOME REWARD.
PARIS EXHIBITION SUCCESS. (by cable—pbbss association—coptbight.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) PARIS, January 14. In contrast to Wembley last summer, the Exhibition of 'Decorative Arts has handsomely rewarded the promoters. . The net profit is estimated at over 1,000,000 francs, which remains for distribution by the Paris municipality and the State, after reimbursement of the city's 15,000,000 francs subsidy. Through the influx of visitors the coffers of the municipality show an increase in revenue amounting to 50,000,000 during the Exhibition, compared with the corresponding period of 1924. Previous Exhibitions hare invariably led to a deficit.
