CITY DOMAINS.
ABOLISH THE BOARD % CONFERENCE WITH COUNCIL, The question of abolishing the Christchurch Domains Board was again before the City Council last night. The Abattoirs and Reserves Commit tee reported having received the following letter from the secretary of the Board:—"I beg to inform you that the Christchurch Domains Board, although as stated in the letter from the Secretary to you of October Bth last, is nou in sympathy with the suggested proposal that the control of the Domains should be handed over to the City Council would be prepared .to meet representatives of the Council, for a further conference which the Council might desire to have with the Board about the matter." Crs. Carr, Andrews, Leadley, Ascnmau, and Cook were appointed to represent the Council at the conference.
