ST. ANDREW'S COLLEGE.

CONCERT AND DISPLAY. 'l'*p sixth unnual display of the pupils of St. Andrew's College, given in tho Caledonian HjII last night,.showed what varied and interesting subject?,, many of them completely outside the. ordinary school curriculum, the boys tire, laught. There was singingi Pipe music, elocution, orchestral music, aTid most excellent exhibitions of gymnastics and exercises. St. Andrew's is one of the very few schools which specialises in gymnastics, and it has broug-Jbt the work to a very high standard. Free exercises, dumbhell drill, vaulting, parallel-bar work, and pyramid-building were carried through, every boy being perfectly in tinio and perfectly ttaincd. If this form of physical training hat- anything to do. with the fine physique of tho youngsters, tho instructor, Mr Spencer Green, deserves tho thanks of every parent. Evon very small lads tumbled with foarlessness and confidence. Parents and 'friends filled nearly every scat in tho h'all, and each item was applauded jn a deserving measure. •
