Amery (Colonial Secretary) and Mr Austen Chamberlain (Foreign Secretary) conjointly invited \he High Commissioners for India, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the Irish Free State, and Newfoundland to attend the signing of the Locarno Pact at the Foreign Office on Tuesday. Sir Joseph Cook and Sir James Allen explain that they -will bo merely spectators; they are not signing tho Pact and are not committing the Dominions in any way. GERMANY'S RATIFICATION. ENTRY TO LEAGUE OF NATIONS. (afstbaijak ajtd x.z- cable assocutios.) (R-eceived November 29th, 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN, November 28. The Reichstag, by 2TB votes to 189, approved Germany's entry into tho League of Nations. Tho Reichstag also passed, by 300 votes to 174, the third reading of tho BLU ratifying the Locarno Treaties. It is believed that Germany will not apply for admission to the League at the forthcoming session of the Council as she desires to await tho complete evacuation of Cologne before applying for admission. ! Tho President, von Hindenburg, the Chancellor, Dr. Luther, and tho Foreign Secretary, Dr. Streseman, have signed tho Locarno agreement legislation. The evacuation of the Cologne zone begins on November 30th.
