CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. The annual Christmas tournament of the Christchurch Golf Club will bo held on the Shirley links on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, December 26th, 28th, and 29th, 1925. The programme is as follows: Saturday, 26th, 0 a.m.-Bogey. Handicap. Afternoon-four Ball Bogey Handicap. Monday, 28th, 0 a.m.-Christchurch Amateur Championship (open to all amateurs). Two rounds of stroko play (eighteen holes each). "Winner to hold, for one year, the R. E. MeDougall Challenge Cup and also receive a replica, of the cup as a trophy. Present holder, E. M. Macfarlane. 10.30 a.m.—Ladies' Christmas Handicap. Twenty-four holes stroke play (twelve holes in morning and twelve in the afternoon). A beautiful cup has been provided for this event. The winner last year was Miss 11. M. Sapsford. of the Avondalc Club. Tuesday, 29th, 9 a.m.—Bogey Handicap. Afternoon—Canadian Foursome Bogey Handicap. A Medal Handicap will be played in conjunction with each round of the Christchurch Amateur Championship, for which prices will be r.warded. The tournament is open to both ladies and gentlemen, and the ladies can enter and v>!ay in all matchca except the Christchurch Amateur Championship. While that is being played the Christinas Handicap is provided far them. Entries close on December 2ttrd, at the secretary's office.
