SCOTTISH FESTIVAL.

ANNUAL CHURCH PARADE. The annual Scottish Festival, which is always held on the Sunday nearest to St. Andrew's Day, was' celebrated yesterday at St. Andrew's' Presbyterian Church. Representatives of the Royal Scottish Society and Caledonian Society attended thc ceremony, and the Highland" Pipe Band, the Scottish Pipe Band, and the Caledonian Pip© Band were on parade. In all, thc parade numbered at least 450. The church was crowded, and the Rev. "X L. U. Webster nrwehed an able sermon on "A Destructive Nihilist, who was Chanced in a Constructive Evangelist: A Study in Patriotism, False and True." The test from which the sermon was preached is Luke VI., 15. In his sermon, Mr Webster dealt with Simon the Zealot, 'tho leader of tho political party which represented the extreme movement against tho Roman domination of Israel.
