Tho Fascist executive decided that the measures taken by the» Grand Master of the Freemasons will not do. Tho Grand Master had ordered the dissolution of Masonic Lodges in accordance with the official decree. The Grand Orient was to continue and lodges were to be created conforming with the requirements of the new law regulating the association. A Fascist coanmunique- says that Freemasons will not be permitted to continue on the traditional lines under the cloak of organisations ostensibly conforming to the new laws. rThe Italian Government passed a law prohibiting all secret societies.]
