The pictnre of a wolf will decorate some of the 112,000,000 postage stamps which are are about to be printed in England for the Turkish Republic. Bami Bey, the famous Turkish artist, who went to England to superintend the printing of tho stamps, has done fiye designs. The design that Sami Bey likes beet depicts the legendary Bosconrt and his wolf. Boscourt, according to ancient legend, was a mountain blacksmith of great strength and valour, and he directed the wandering Turkish tribes who had lost their "way *nd wexa >fc»rving in the hills.
