COLLEGE WINS. INTER-SCHOOL MATCHES. Christ's College had a double win apainst ChrisWiurch Boys' High School in the annuul crii&et matches toncluded at Hauler Park yesterday. In ;he first eleven's match. College won by ;6 runs on the first innings. High School making -29,1, and in the second eleven's game Col'ejre had 5 runs in hand and six wickets to fall when rain stopped the play. High School Firsts had two wickets down for 152 when Jacobs (\<Xfj and Ward (IS) resumed on a slow wicket yasterday morning;. The bowlers were Wibon ;md Tripe. The two batimer. scored steadily, and Jacobs brought ofi some.nice boundary hhots. When the total was 178 Ward survived a strong appeal fcr caught behind the wickets off Tripe. The cricket match between Southland and Otago was continued to-day. Heavy rain fell during the night and the wicket was sodden and the. outfield dead. Bain fell at intervals during the 'morning and interfered with play. Southland won the match. Southland had a lead of 42 runs on the first innings.
