LOCAL ARRANGEMENTS. BUSINESS TO CEASE FOR ONE HOUR. A special service in memory of the late Queen Alexandra will be held in the Cathedral to-morrow, commencing at 11 a.m. The service will be conducted by Dean Carrington, Commissary of the' Bishop. The Mayor and City Councillors will attend, and the Mayor has issued invitations to representatives of all publie bodies to l»e present. The Mayor has also agreed to a suggestion that a collection should be taken Up at tho service t for tho Nurses' Memorial Chapel to be built in the Hospital grounds. A request is addressed by the Mayor to proprietors of business premises, such as shops, offices, and factories, also to hotelkeepers and the controlling authorities of. all local educational institutions to close for the hour on Friday morning between 11 and 12, while the memorial service is being h e |d. ■ A* Requiem will bo held at St. Michael's Church at 7 a.m. to-morrow. government offices.
