The two wooden structures used as part of the former Richmond school -will be offered for sale on behalf of the Education Board, at 10 a.m. to-day, on the premises, Stanmore road, Richmond. Messrs W.- E. Simes and Co. conduct the sale. The flower show and fete in connexion with St. David's Presbyterian Church, is being held on Saturday next, afternoon and evening. The Industrial Association suggests that all Manufacturers should observe a compie'.e cessation of work to-morrow morning frcin 11 o'clock to 11.5. A memorial service for Queen Alexandra will bo held in the Christchurch Cathedral at. 11 a.m. to-morrow. An overflow service will be held at St. Luke's. The conversazione arranged by the Manchester Unity Oddfellows of the Xcrth Canterbury district, will not take place on Saturday. A concert in aid of St. Saviour's orphanages will be held in the Caledonian Hall to-night.
