SYRIAN RISING.
FRENCH TROOPS AT BEIRUT. (BT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (SEClEa's TELEGRAMS.) BEIRUT, November 23. So far over 3GCO troops have been landed here. It is signficant that they included hardly any coloured troops. A united rebel attack in the neighbourhood of Hasbeiya was repulsed with heavy loss.
