MACHINES TO CARRY PARACHUTES. (bt cable—press association—COPlßJGHT.) (reuteb's telegbams.) LONDON, November 23. In the House of Commons, replying to questions, Sir Samuel Hoaro (Minister for Air) said that during the year ended September 30th there had been 42 accidents in the Air Force owing to machines crashing, involving 57 deaths. None of the machines was equipped with parachutes, but provision was now being made as speedily as possible for the equipment of the whole force with parachutes.
