SWIMMING.
TINWALD CLUB. A meeting of about 60 Tinwald residents last evening decided to reform the Tinwald Swimming Club. Mr W. B. Thomas presided. ~ , , • The election of officers resulted as follows: I'atron, the Hon, W. Xoswcitby; president, Mr J. Cow; committee, Mrs 11. B. Mill.ohamp, Misses E. McMillan, M. Mushet, Messrs T. E. Tarboiton, J. Cow, Percy Brown, J. M'-Intyrc, D. McMi'.lan, jun.; honorary secretary, Miss A. .Stevenson; lionorary auditor, Mr H. H. Pearce: honcrary trcasurer, Mr Donald McMillan. Twenty-four vice-presidents -were elected. The appointment of captain, hanciicapper, delegates to the Ashburto/i Sub-Centre, and the fixing oE the subscription were loft in the hands of the committee. The secretary of the ;A«hburton Club advised that the Friedlandev Cup would be returned to the Tinwald Club. . The. baths were reported to be in good order.
