FRENCH RETICENCE.
FULL STORY NOT TOLD. (Received October 29th, 9.10 p.m.) LONDON, October 29. The full stovy of Damascus is not yet published in France. The "War Ministry stated last night that it was not in a position to confirm or deny the story of the bombardment, and the l' oreign Ministry issued a statement that tho reports were exaggerated. The Press, however, does not accept the denials nor attempts to minimise them. Tho "Daily Express" specially cabled the secretary of the Palestine Arab Congress respecting the message from Jerusalem, and the reply states that the story that a number of women and children were buried in the ruins is still unverified, but the fugitives insist Oil the truth of their statements. The replv affirms that the French arc suppressing the correct, news. bombardment of the densest quarters cf the city lasted for fifty hours.
