Tli© "Daily lExpress" displays an announcement by its lobbyist to the effect that Mr Churchill has fully reconsidered the embargo on foreign -and Dominion loans in the light of the representations bv commercial interests and the Dominions. It has been provisionally decided to remove the embargo at an early date. Mr Churchill discussed the question with leading bankers to-day ; and an announcement of the exact decision will shortly be made. H is understood from others that even if the embargo- is removed this weak there is uo likelihood of any immediate issue of r. Dominion loan, as arrangements are being made for another issue, not connected with the Dominions. FRENCH EXCHANGE. (Received October '29 th, 11,10 p.m.) LONDON, October 28. Wheat cargoes, in sympathy with the bullish American and Canadian advice, have firmed Is to Is 6d. but buyers are reserved. Parcels are in good demand at an advance of Is to 2s. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. (Received October 29th, 11.10 p.m.) SVDXKV, October 23. The week's wool sales closed with ji strong general demand, prices at their best ijoint fully maintaining the recently reported improvement. The South Australian conversion loan of £900,000, and the Victorian loan of i' 5,000.000, each bearing interest at 5 per cent., and issued at 09i. have each been over-subscribed. Cash applicants rece:\e 75 per cent. Dealings in both scrips commenced at 991. P. AND O. COMPANY. LONDON, October 23. The P. and O.
