GREEK FRONTIER.
REPLY TO LEAGUE.
EVACUATION OF BULGARIA. (by cable—tress association—coetright.) (Stdhet "Sun" Service.) (Received October 29th, 8 p.m.) PARIS, October 28. The Greek reply not having arrived, the Council of the League sat in private session and seriously contemplated for the first time in League history imposing the sanctions of Article Sixteen of the Covenant. It is understood that England, France, Italy, and Spain agreed that their fleets would be ready to join in blockading Greece. In the meantime, the Greek reply was received and considered satisfactory. ATHENS, October 28. The Greek reply to the Council of the League of Nations,-states that the Greek evacuation of Bulgaria will commence to-morrow. ' The incident may now be regarded as closed. All that remains is for the League to enquire into the responsibilities and the claims of the two parties. FRONTIER HOSTILITIES. SOFIA, October 28. An official announcement this afternoon states that the Greeks, this morning, fired on a Bulgarian frontier P ° St ' ATHENS, October 28. An official statement issued . this afternoon states that the Bulgarians this morning attacked Greek forces near Ramna.
