To play a different revue every week for ten weeks is no mean achievement, and yet a sparkling play is "On the Scent," the tenth revue of the Phil Smith Musical Comedy Company, at the Opera House. "The Veterans of Variety" provide an entirely new programme of old songs, including "Ting a Ling,' l . "Beer, Beer, Glorious Beer," "A Little Bit Off the Top for Me," "Grandfather's Clock," and "Why Cannot a Man Have Three Wives !" Mis 3 Bessie Slaughter, the well-known contralto, sings several songs. '
