H. Perrin. Mr H. J. Hutchison (vice-pres'idenO was also present. Apologies were received from Messrs C. Orchard and L. Berg. Mr and Mrs Hutohison wrote thanking the. club for electing them vice-preaideMs, and offering a bat for the most improved allround fourth grade p"ayer. A letter was received from Mr A. E. Ridley accepting ciffice as a vice-president and offering a bat to the first player to make 150 runs in an innings, and failing that, to the highest individual scorer. The secretary reported that as the membership had increased to a large extent, he had entered nine teams in the Tarious competitions, and his action was endorsed. The eub-cominitleo reported that it had secured the services of Messrs R. Read and T. Halbun as coaches to the club. Tho secretary was instructed to forward a letter of sympathy to Mr E. Whittle, New Plymouth, a vicr-pr PB ident of thftclub, who hud recently undergone a Serious operations, and wish him a spcedv recovery. The following were elected members of the club:—F. C.
