LAWN TENNIS.
ST. ANDREW'S CLUB. The otth 1 *! meeting of the St. Andrew's Tennis Club was held on Saturday. The report and kalance-flheet -were adopted. It was stated that '-considerable progress •was shown during the year, and an additional court was put down. Mr D. S. Dodda was elected club tain, Mr J. M. Fottinger treasurer, and Mr D. L. Dewar secretary. , Messrs D. S. Dodds and J. M. Pottinger were reappointed club delegates to .the Lawn Tennis Association. The opening day was fixed for Saturday, September 26th, 1325. SBFTON CLUB. The annual meeting of the Sefton Tennis Club was held in the 'Domam P«il*?» on Thursday evening, when Mr A. M. DalzeU (captain) presided over a good attendance., The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £lO 38 7d. A vote of thanks was accorded. all those who had assisted by giving donations and providing transport for players. The following officers were elected:--Patron, Mr H. F. Thomson; president, Mr Geo Clarke; vice-presidents, the same list as last year, but Mr I. Champion replaced Mr H. P. Mclver, who was transferred to Uwnw; ~P*»i». Mr A. M. Dabsell; vicecaptain, Mr A. J. T. Withers; secretary and SSr, Miss L. Haining;. handicappera, leases A. Dalzoll and L. Haining and Mr A. Daliell; auditor, Mr P. J.
