SHANGHAI RIOTING CONTINUES. POLICE OPEN FIRE. (BY CABLE—PBE9B ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (SEUTEH'S TEHQRAJIB.) PEKING, August 13. Bands of strikers at Shanghai rioted and looted food shops, as a result of tho non-payment of strike pay. Tho police were helpless, and fired once, wounding one man. Eventually Labour officials and tho municipal police restored order.
