MOTOR MISHAP.
WOMAN FATALLY INJURED. (press association telegram.) AUCKLAND, August 13. The cleatli- occurred in "Llic- Hospital to-nighfc of Airs M arv Mackenzie, ;t gcd 37 years, a visitor from Tangawahine. as a result of a- motor accident at Onehunga this afternoon. Mrs Mackenzie, with her daughter Jean, aged 7 years, was about to leave the trannvav shelter to board a tramcar when a motor-truck, in attempting to turn, skidded on the wet roadway and crashed. heavily into the shelter. Mrs Mackenzie suffered a compound ■fracture of tho thigh, death ensuing after an operation. Her daughter was badly bruised. Others present in the shelter escaped. The shelter itself was considerably damaged.
