Count Antonio Cippico, Italian Fascist Senator, speaking at tlie Institute of Politics at "Williamstown (Massahusctts) declared that the great dream of supremacy in Northern Africa dominates French policy and that Franco, by her system of slow absorption, is attempting to suppress tho free Italian nationality in Tunisia, Algeria an 4 Morocco. Ho charged Franco with failing to observe lior conventions with Italy regarding Tunisia, also stating that she is trying to enforce her moral supremacy upon the world as Germany tried to enforce "kultur.''

CONCEALED FROM FRENCH PEOPLE. (AUSTRALIAN AXD N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATIOK.) PARIS, August 7. Tho war correspondent of "Le Temps" urges that Trance docs not roalisc that she is in dangor of losing Morocco. The Government is well-meaning, but, fearing its political enemies, is concealing the continual losses and retreats by the use, or abuse, of the convenient word infiltration. The casualties of French officers are very high, and French troops are shouldering all tho fighting owing to inferiority of the coloured allies.
RIFFI OFFENSIVE.
RESUMPTION OP OPERATIONS. (KECTEB'S TELEGBAIfS.) (Eeceived August 0th,.5.5 p.m.) PARIS, August 8. The Riffls last night attacked -tho French camp at Bab Taza, but were easily repulsed. No details are available, but tho newspapers believe the affair indicates a resumption of the Biffi offensive.
