STINNES TRUST.
GERMAN MAGNATE'S ESTATE. DISPOSAL OF THE ASSETS. (BX CABLE—rHESS ASSOClATlON—copteioht.) (RBUTEa'S TfcLEGßAjdtf.) BERLIN, August 7. The reconstruction of the Stinnes concern tho final aim of which is to revort to the original business of the late Hugo Sunneo, namely, coal trading at Muelhoim and the working of Stinnes's mines in. West Germany, is progressing only slowly owing to the all-round fall of Stock Exchange quotations for mining and industrial Bhares and difficulty of selling Stinnes's share en bloc to ono holder in order to avoid weakening the market by throwing them on the Stock Exchange. The Stinnes Trust's obligations arc now stated to bo 180,000,000 marks, of which 40,000,000 marks have alroadv been paid by tho sales of sorry* of Stinnes'a property. It is calculated that there will still be a surplus of assets over liabilities if the entire property is regarded as an asset. Negotiations are proceeding for the sale of the Stinnes-Riebeck mining and tail works. The prospects of disposing of the fleet of 250.000 tons are apparently small, and plans for the formation cf a new company to take over the fleet at a prico of 25,000,000 marks is now being discussed.
