MILK VAN OVERTURNS.
BOTTLES IN THE RIVER. At about -1 o'clock on Saturday morning, Mr A. A. Moore, a Marshland dairyman, met with ill-luck when about 40 crates of milk were tipped out of his van and into the river. He was endeavouring to turn on the greasy road near River road, llallington, when a wheel failed to grip, and the motor-van went over the bank. There were some 350 bottles of milk in the van, and many of them were broken, changing the colour of the river considerably. The crates of bottles were recovered, and the van was on the road again at 1.30 p.m.
