Boag, for the Draught Horse Committee, recommended: (1) That classes 59 and GO road, "Team to be shown in harness," and that a special bo allotted to each class; (2) that a class bo added for host walking draught, two yours or over; (3) that E class he ftdried for best shod draueht horse, •blacksmith to make the entry; (4) that the Association affiliate with the Clydesdale Horse Society; (5) that the liorso parade bo held on the Show Ground on the. last sale day in September; (6) that four doore on tlio entire horse 'boxes be completed, and four hiore half doors be erected. The Dairy and Domestic Produce Committee (Mr A. J. Inwood) rcccfrnmrnded rearranging the order of classes in some cases. The recommendations were adopted. The Hon. Sir R. Heaton Rholes, replying to a letter from the Association, undertook to obtain from tho Minister of Internal Affaifs dh interpretation of a clause in tho Motor Vehicles Act dealing with the fees payable in resneet to heavy motor vehicles a Hhi engine plants for farm work, The Ellesmere Rugby Football SubUnion was granted permission for motorcars t.O be takfen on tho Show Ground on August 15th and 22nd. and for aa admia-r sion charge to be made on tho ground. The offer of Mi- J. C. Free to grant the Asdf.ciatioh a rierht-of-way through his proPfftv fronting Maneo road, to the Show Grouiidj for all time, was accepted with tjumks. Memoers reported on their canvass for funds for Show Ground improvements, which hjM resulted fairly satisfactorily, although thero was still a substantial amount yet to he r,ai3ed-.

Several inoraberß spoke feelingly of tie past services rendered to the Association by Mr H. T. Beaven, who, after filling the position pf treasurer for a number of years, had thia year resigned from that position, and On tho motion of Mr E. P. H. fhirbury, seconded by Major J.
