Craws for tho Eromanga and Birga, of tho Commonwealth Line, have signed on without difficulty. The vessels sail shortly. No further trouble is expect* ed on. this lino. There Ims been no change- in the dispute between the eeamen and the interstate companies. Both' aides are awaiting tho Ksnlt of the Sydaev union delegates' visit to Melbourne to interview tho Steamship Owners' Association.
The Melbourne Owners' Association refused to hold a conference with the Union delegation from Sydney, bat allowed thorn to put their case before the owners. Certain proposals were made by the unionists and tho owners thou announced that they would consider tho proposals, but would adhere to their previous decision and not participate in the agreement entered into by the Commonwealth Line and the marbie transport group.
