BRITISH PENSIONS BILL.
CONDEMNED BY RAILWAYMEN. (BY CABLE—PREBS ASSOCIATION—COPTMQHT.) (REUTBE's TBLEORAMB.J LONDON, July 8. The annual conference of tho National Union of Bailwaymen a* Southport unanimously condemned tho Government's new Pensions Bill, demanding a con-contributory scheme.
Mr J. H. Thomas said that the effect of tho contributions would bo to increase unemployment. Both employers and workers were absolutely incapable of standing another penny in contributions.
