A meeting of tho Management Committee of the Seamen's Union decided not to oppose the shipowners' application for the deregistration of the Seamen's Union as it was not advisable to incur further legal expenses. It 'also decided that if the owners attempted to reduce wages or alter conditions of work, the Union would fight them- industrially.
