BERLIN, June 3. The Government lias received the Allied Note.
It admits that Germany is attempting to fulfil reparations, but bluntly and sternly declares that Cologne cannot bo evacuated unless disarmament is carried out.
It demands the abolition of the General Staff, the reduction of the police from 150,000 to 30,000, tho dissolution of aggressive Monarchist organisations, and the discontinuance of housing police in barracks like soldiers.
Thirty- pages are devoted to recounting, instances of Germany's refusal to disarm.
Tho perusal of the Note caused wry faces in Cabinet.
The Nationalists are certain to protest, and aro demanding that President von Hindenburg should resign rather than accept what they consider a shameful document..
