A large number of people have availed themselves-of the opportunity of inspecting the Mahogany collection which is to be sold next Tuesday. Connoisseurs havo expressed their great appreciation of the various articles and It has besn interesting to note the comments of the critics.A well-known Lichfield street man, who is regarded as a mahogany expert, showed his amazement and stated that he had rever seen a better collection in a New Zealand home. Ths Heppellwlute suite .in tho break- j fast room, with its' shield-back design to cha.irs and quaint work on sideboard and dinner waggon, claims many admirers. The Sheraton and the Queen Anne bedroom suites, particularly the Avardrobes and the dressing tables, are favourites with all; while in the drawing room, the Chippendale' china cabinet is the outstanding feature. There is no doubt that, the condition of the mahogany is a great tribute to the care that it lias received since being brought from England. Messrs H. G.
