The Glasgow police assert that the etory of Dr. Stacker's, attendance at the Communist Conference,is the'merest hoax. They aro satisfied /'that, no such person was smuggled from Germany, but that Stocker was impersonated by a German resident in England. The. police admit that Mdle. Laval arrived as an ordiitarv tourist.
