COURT OP DIRECTORS. A meeting of the Coitrt of Directors of the Royal Hnni&ne Society was held yesterday.. Canon "VV. S. Bean ingThe statement receipts and expenditure showed a credit balanco on April 6tli of £67 17s lid. Subscriptions and donations, etc., totalled £lB 4s 3d. A motion of sympathy was passed to < the relatives of the late Prime. Minister, members standing in silence during the passing of the motion. it was decided to grant framed certificates to the following, the cases tif whom were discussed at a previous* meeting of the Court:— Colin Pearson, aged 16 years, grocer's assistant, of Hokianga, who rescued a boy, five years of age, from drowning at * Kohu Kohu oil March 12th,. 1924, arid Maud Christina, Arthur, V/ years of age, who rescued tpWdH. <lged So years, from drowning atfESIOT II 011 December 3rd, 10*1.
