♦ HUMAN BONES TO MAKE MANURE. (BT CABLE—rRESS ASSOCIATION—COPnUGITT) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON. December 25. Reports from Salonika state that a British steamer bound from Constantinople to Marseilles, loaded with human bones gathered at tho scenes of the Asia Minor massacres and intended for manufacture into manure, was held up for a timo at Salonika, tho watersiders seeking to prevent the boat sailing with its ghoulish cargo. The captain was only able to sail as a result of the Greek authorities and 1 the British Consul intervening.
