CAIRO, December 23. Viscount Allenby, Residency, in the presence of the principal officials, presented Fred March, the driver of the car in which the. late Sirdar was travelling when he was assassinated, with the silver medal of the Order of the British Empire, also a cheque for £SOOO. Lord Allenby paid r, tribute to March's rcmarkaMo couNf". s.r.d courage at the moment oc the attack.and said he almost succeeded in saving the Sirdar's life.
