COMMISSIONER AND MRS HOGGARD. Commissioner and Mrs Hoggard, of the Salvation Army vitsitcd tho Sydenham Corps on. Saturday and yesterday, conducting a series of meetings in the Battcrsca, street Hal!,. Oil Saturday afternoon they were present at the garden party at tho residence of Mr C. jl. Oiiivier, St. Martins, where the Commissioner spoko on general Army work. Yo6tcrday afternoon he gave an address on ''.Reminiscences of Ireland, ' and last evening, in the Battersca street Hall hand and vocal items were given in connexion \ritli tho service, 'lno Commissioner i 3 assisted in his work by Major and Mrs Wallace, and Ensign Griffin. To-day tho Commissioner and jfi'B Hoggard will rrisit. Oxford, St. Albans to-morrow and Lyttelton on Wednesday. It is considered tbafc the visit will give great impetus to local Army work.
