Mr Gibson (Commonwealth Post-master-General) states that he has ar ranged for a reduction in Eastern Ex tension and Pacific cable rates to Australia, by sixpence a word, with a pro portionate reduction in Press and deferred rates, commencing on Decern ber Ist.
