WEDDINGS.
WALKER—WILLIAMS. A pretty wedding was eolemnised at the Methodist Church, Temuka, recently, the contracting parties being James Dudley Walker, eon of Mr and Mis J. Walker, of Temuka, and Hilda Pretoria Williams, daughter of Mr Richard Williams, of Ashburton. The Rev. Raymond Richards performed the ceremorfj', and Miss Gibb presided at the organ. The bride wore a mauve costume prettily braided and trimmed with fur, and henna hat. Her bouquet was of arum lilies, snowdrops and asparagus fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Doris White, wore a grey coat frock handsomely braided and hat to match and carried a pretty bouquet. Mr H. Walker, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man. After the ceremony a large number of friends assembled at the residence of the bridegroom's parents, when the customary toasts were duly honoured newly-married couple left for the North, the bride's going-away costume being of navy blue with hat to match.
