A deputation from the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Swimming Association asked the Hon. R. F. Bollard for an increase of subsidy for teaching swimming in schools. It wat; stated that the Association was unable to continue with the present subsidy of £IOO. M? Bollard 6aid that ho would submit the request to Cabinet.
