The Washington '"Post" says that a private luncheon with the President and his family has been arranged for the Prince of Wales on his arrival in tho United States for tho international polo matches in September. It is believed that tho Prince will reach New York on August 30th. Tho "Post" says that tho Frinco's call at White House was decided upon after King George had vetoed tho proposal that the .Prince should come to the United States incognito lis Lord Renfrew. Tho Kinc held that international courtesy required the use of the Prince's highest title on his United States visit, necessitating formally paying his respects to the President.
