Richardson and Co., a claim for compensation for injuries to a foot while working on the steamer Ripple, in October last, it was stated a settlement had bean arranged out of Court. | A settlement had alio been. come ,to in the claim Violet Gertrude Dixon against the Colonial Carrying Co., for the death of heir husband; in' an accident on April 17th. The settlement was for the payment of £768'16s 6d. Half the amount goes to the widow and' J the other haft will be paid to the Public Trustee for the benefit of plaintiff's two boys. . .. An application was - made on of, Edith Elsif Henderson, a widow, at present residing in England; .arid, her child, for apportionment ofj.£7oCl compensation awarded last; AfcrilV oja.. account oi the deith of vArchibald B. Henderson, who was kiUed throfctkh a fall down the hold of the Union'Sfceain Ship Co.'s steamer Koromiko, at Bluff * in April last.
