VICTORIA SQUARE ROTUNDA.
TO BE REMOVED.
The Victoria square rotunda .is to be removed to Waltham Park, and a new rotunda erected on a site on the riverbank between Colombo street and Manchester street at an approximate cost of £4OO. The Baths and Entertainment Committee's recommendation in that direction was adopted by the City Council last night. ' The committee reported that it had considered the question of removing the existing rotunda to the riverbank site, but had agreed to recommend the building of a new rotunda of a design to be approved. The cost of removing the Victoria square rotunda to Waltham Park is estimated to be £IBO.
