. * DOMINION CONFERENCE. The Dominion Conference of the Beturned Soldiers' Association was continued yesterday in the- Jellicoe. Hall, Mr D. S. Smith, vice-president, being in the chair. . It was decided that the next conference be held in Dunedin, and that in future the conference should not meet on a Sunday. A vote of thanks was passed to the members of the Christchurch R.S.A. for hospitality extended to those attending the conference. A similar courtesy was extended to the Press for publicity given. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr R. B. Bell, who was not seeking re-, election on the executive, for his past services. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Colonel Hi Stewart (Canterbury); vice-president, Mr D. S. Smith (Wellington); hon. treasurer, Mr J. D. Harper (Wellington); Dominion executive, Messrs M. A. Aldred and F. M. Cox (Auckland), A. R. Laijig (Otago), J. D. Forbes (Oamaru), W. Perry, A. T. Duncan and G. W. C'linkard (Wellington), N. A. Vercoe #(Nelson), G. W. Leadley (Christchurch), and'A. H. McKane (Greymouth). •
