MEETING OP COMMITTEE.

Dr. "W. H. Simpson presided at a meeting of the connoifctea of the Sports Club lust night.

Mr S. F. Barnett wrote tendering hiß resignation from the committee owing to his inability to attend meetings. The reaignaiion was accepted with regret. A. Alliords wrote enquiring as to the possibility of being matched in Christchurch. He -wa3 prepared to meet any middle-weight in New Zealand-, and suggested a return bout with Eddie Parker. Tne letter was referred to the Competitions Committee. I{.
