According to a telegram from Philadelphia, the "North American," in an article withheld from publication lor 15 months "in the interest of science," says:— r ihe cause of cancer lias been discovered, also a treatment which, though still in the experimental stage, is producing remarkable results. The discoverer is Dr. T. J. Glover, a native of Toronto, who, in an article, says that he has established scientifically that the disease is due to a microorganism. He has isolated the genu, and proved by a conclusive laboratory test, known as the "Koch cycle" its part as a causative factor. Dr. Glover has conducted research work in New York for four years. Dr. Glover is now making significant progress towards perfecting a method of determining the presence of the micro-organism in the blood, in order to detect the disease in its incipient stage, so affording greater possibility of cure.
